4images - 4images is a web-based image gallery management system. It can be downloaded from http://www.4homepages.de/ -- free for personal or non-profit use (licenses available for commercial uses). There is a demo of a 4images gallery here: http://demo.4homepages.de/?l=english
Adobe PDF - You can place Adobe PDF files on your site, and just link to them as though they were another web page.

Contribute - Globat supports the Macromedia Contribute (http://www.macromedia.com/) software suite, merely set up Contribute to publish via FTP.
Downloads - You may offer files for download from your web site. Just upload them to your web space (in httpdocs or a sub-folder of httpdocs) and use a regular web link:

JavaScript - JavaScript, as well as JavaScript includes, are supported on web pages at Globat. Simply include the JavaScript in your HTML file as you normally would, or enter the script into a .js file and include it following this format (placed before the </head>):

Python CGI - Python, just like PHP and Perl, is a programming language supported on Globat servers. You can use Python scripts as a .cgi file. More information on Python is available here: http://www.python.org/

Shared SSL - To access your secure content, you will need to know your server name. The main index page of the Globat Command Console lists your server name. Once you know your server name, the link to your secure content looks like:

https://server.globat.com/~domain.com

Replace server.globat.com with your server name, and replace domain.com with your domain name. Do not include "www" in the server name or your domain name.

XML - XML is a file format with many applications; it is meant to be able to be customized for various situations, for example XHTML is an XML version of HTML. For more information on XML, see: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/XML
