Does enabling Globat Gallery affect the site I uploaded or built with GloBuild, or can I use both at the same time?
- Globat Gallery and GloBuild will not interfere with each other. Both tools may be used simultaneously on the same site.
Can I set up multiple albums with Globat Gallery?
- Yes. After installing your Globat Gallery, browse to http://photos.example.com/login.php (replacing example.com with your Globat domain name) and log in with your account username and password. Once logged in, you can add a new album by clicking the “Add Album” link.
Is there a limit to how many pictures I can upload? Are there space limitations (MB or GB)?
- Yes, this will be determined by the size of your hosting package you’ve purchased.
How do I manage my Globat Gallery?
- After installing your Globat Gallery through the command console at https://login.globat.com, browse to http://photos.example.com/login.php (replacing example.com with your Globat domain name) and log in with your account username and password.
Can we upgrade GD library’s to the current version?
- Sorry, not at this time.
How do I password protect my gallery?
- You can make the folders private or public from your Globat Command Console.
How can I resize images?
- At this time you can only crop your image online. If you wish to resize an image you must use a 3rd party imaging software and then upload the picture to your gallery. If you currently don’t have a 3rd party imaging software, you can obtain one for free at http://www.irfanview.com/
Can I upload my photos via File Manager or FTP?
- Not at this time, you must login to your Globat Gallery in order to upload your pictures.
