Q. What is GloVault?
- A. GloVault is a special password-protected area on your own Globat.com Web hosting account. You can share photos, movies, videos, music and other files securely with anyone you choose. It also allows you to share with visitors easily through Web-based interfaces. GloVault is a safe, reliable, secure, and fully backed-up folder where you can store your data 24x7 and access it from any Internet-enabled computer in the world.
Q. Which files can I put in my GloVault?
- A. GloVault is designed to backup all of your unique and irreplaceable files: your text documents, spreadsheets, financial documents, photos, music, etc.
Q. How much data can I store on GloVault?
- A. GloVault will host all the supported files within the size of your hosting account.
Q. Are there any limitations on how much data will be backed up in my GloVault?
- A. No. No matter how much data you have in your GloVault, GloVault will back it up.
Q. Can I really back up everything with GloVault?
- A. Yes! You can back up any or all of the files within GloVault on your Globat.com hosting account.
Q. How do I set up GloVault?
- A. Installing GloVault is easy if you follow the steps below:
- 1. Follow the special link found within your GloVault confirmation e-mail.
- 2. The setup parameters will then be shown and by default you do not need to alter any of these settings.
- 3. Click on "Go to Step 2."
- 4. Provide the Admin e-mail for where the setup information for this folder will be sent. You can enter multiple e-mail addresses, separating each one with a comma.
- 5. Step 3 will then prompt you to add a username, password, and e-mail for administrative rights for GloVault. Once this is done, you will be ready to start using GloVault.
Q. Where can I find and log into my GloVault folder?
- A. Your GloVault is automatically created at http://glovault.yourdomain.com (replace yourdomain.com with your actual domain name) and can be accessed over the Internet from anywhere in the world! All you need to do is use your login and password to gain access to the account.
Q. Can I remotely manage my GloVault administration?
- A. Yes. With GloVault, you can manage your folder from any computer with Internet accessed.
Q. What are some of the beneficial features of GloVault?
- • Access important files (proposals, price sheets, etc.) while working at home, on the road or at a client's office.
- • Easily and securely transfer files too large to e-mail or to transfer from one computer to another.
- • Securely share files with other users. Simply create a password which can be easily changed at any time.
- • No additional hardware or software is required.
