This is a walk-through of how to set up FrontPage to publish to your Globat site.

If you prefer Flash Tutorials, we have several on using FrontPage on our Using third party software page.

You can configure FrontPage to publish your web site by following the step by step instructions below:

1. In FrontPage, open your FrontPage Web Site. On the File menu, click Publish Web.

2. In the Publish Destination dialog box, type your full domain name (web site address), including the HTTP:// and click OK.

For example: http://www.mysample-frontpage-web.com

Note: If you have already established a publishing destination for this FrontPage Web, the Publish Destination dialog box doesn't appear. Go to the next step.

3. In the Connect to www.mysample-frontpage-web frontpage web dialog box, enter your Hosting FTP user name and password, and then click OK.

4. In the Publish Web dialog box, click Options.

In the Options dialog box, specify whether you want to publish only pages that have changed, or all pages. You can also define how FrontPage determines which pages have been changed and create a log file for changes made during publishing.

5. In the Publish Web dialog box, click Publish.

If you cancel publishing in the middle of the operation, files that have already been published remain on the destination Web server.

6. In the Microsoft FrontPage dialog box, click Done. If you want to open your published site in a browser or view the log file for the published site, click the appropriate link.
