The control panel also gives you access to change common features of your website like company name, slogan, copyright, search your site or even changing the entire template.

Let’s say it’s December 31st 2005 and you would like to have the copyright updated on your site to say 2006, simply enter the new year and click “Update.”

This is a "Globat Update" meaning that you can change all of the selections at one time, or one at a time and the current information will not be changed.

A word about the “Search Box”:

Your site is equipped with an active search feature that searches your site by words entered into the "Search Field Box" on any page. You can make your search feature “Active” or “Inactive” which would disable the searching capabilities of your site.

The logo that you uploaded can be linked to always point back to the Home Page of your website, also known as index.html or index.htm.

If you choose to change the look of your template, select “Design Template” at the top of this page and you will be transported back into the Template selection step.

NOTE: You will have to go through the 3 steps once again and Publish your site to see the new template.
