Using WebmailFrom Support CenterReturn to the Support Center - Main PageGlobat.com provides two great Web mail options for you, AtMail (@mail) and SquirrelMail Web mail. Both are fully compatible with any POP3 Mailboxes you create with the Globat Command Console.
AtMailLogging InTo use AtMail to check a POP3 Mailbox visit http://wm1.globat.com/. Depending on your browser, you will be offered multiple interface modes.
Enter your E-mail Address at E-mail Name and enter your POP3 Mailbox password. Then click "Login." Note: Some pop-up blockers, including the one included with new versions of Internet Explorer, will attempt to block the AtMail windows. Select "Temporarily Allow Pop-ups" or "Always Allow pop-ups from this site" if prompted. General InterfaceWhen you first log in, there will be a summary page. It will give you information on calender events and tasks, as well as information of the number of messages in each of your folders.
On the left you will see a Folder section, that includes Inbox, Sent, and Drafts. If you wish to go straight to the Inbox when you log in to AtMail, check the "When Globat Web mail Starts, go directly to my Inbox" checkbox. To see messages in your Inbox click the Inbox folder. New messages will appear bold while messages already opened will appear in regular text. Composing a MessageTo compose a new message, select "File > New Message" or click on the name of a Contact if you have added any.
The e-mail composer works much like any other e-mail program, simply enter any TO, CC, subject, and body, then press "Send." You can also attach files using AtMail. Adding an Address Book EntryTo add a Contact to your Address Book, simply click the word Contact on the left side of the screen, then click the New Contact button.
You can choose to add as little or as much as you'd like about this contact. Enter at least the e-mail address and full name for clarity.
After you've entered the desired information, scroll down and click "Add Entry." Once you have entered a contact, you can use that contact to send e-mail messages or copies of your calendar appointments and tasks. Adding a Calendar EntryTo schedule a calendar entry, click "File > New Calendar."
Enter a subject and body text. You can adjust the Type, Start Date, and End Time from this screen. If you wish to send a copy of the entry to someone else within your domain account, you can click "Add Recipients" and add them from your address book. The entry will then show up on their calendar in addition to yours. Click "Send" to add this entry to your calendar (and to send it to any additional recipients that you've selected). Adding a TaskTo add a new task, select "File > New Task."
You can select the Type, Start Date, and Due Date for the task. To send a copy of the task to someone in your Address Book click "Add Recipients." Enter the subject of the task, as well as additional information in the large input area. Click "Send" to add the task to your task list (and to send the task to any additional recipients you've selected). Customizing your Name and SignatureTo change your Displayed Name and your E-mail Signature click "Preferences > Account Preferences."
You'll see a large area of preferences you may change. Your Displayed Name is the name that appears on outgoing e-mail messages. If you scroll to the bottom of the preferences page, you will see the e-mail signature area, where you can enter any signature you'd like. When you have finished making changes, click the "Save Settings" button.
