If you are uploading images: select BROWSE to find the image on your local computer. A “Windows” file explorer or File Locater on Mac will guide you in locating a picture on your system. This is also true if you have an additional media capture device such as a Digital Camera connected to your computer. The Globat Gallery component will compress any image for thumbnail view.

Figure 11 - Upload Success Once the files and URLs have been uploaded to your server, a success screen will show the results. In this example a picture of a rubber ducky and a link to an image on a web site were uploaded. After the continue button has been selected you are then directed to the gallery view again.
Figure 12 - After Upload As you will notice, the last image uploaded to your new gallery is the first to be displayed. You will also have the options of creating Titles for your images and descriptions. The gallery component also permits some Rich Text Formatting to bold and italicize your textual descriptions. There is also the capability of adding links from your text as well as an e-mail address under the image in the gallery. The last feature is allocation of keywords for the images you upload. This is for the “Search” feature of your gallery. The more keywords that you place in this section will help users to find specific images based on their subject matter.

One additional feature provides more control over the image including rotating the image, cropping the image and saving the image as a “thumbnail.” This is done with the “Coppermine Picture Editor. “ Double clicking on an image in the gallery mode will transfer you to editor mode.
